Mrs. Lila Farmer Sutherland, 85, of Trussville passed away on May 19, 2017. Lila was a devoted member of the Baptist faith and was a loving mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Waldo “George” Sutherland, brothers, Cecil and Clifton Farmer, sister, Elsie Fuqua Marshall, and parents, Pinkney and Cora Farmer. She is survived by her son, Dwight Sutherland (Paula), daughter, Ann Underwood (Charles), grandchild, Erickson Poe (Jenny), two great-grandchildren, Natalee and Isaiah Poe, brother, Junior Farmer, sisters, Hazel Castellani (Ed), Mary Shedd, and Lois Ellington, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
