Lila D. Hahn, 90, of Kingwood, WV, died on Monday, May 15, 2017, at her home.

Lila was born December 2, 1926, in Moorefield, daughter of the late Olin Arthur and Mamie Ann (Casteel) Roomsburg.

Lila was a member of the Kingwood Baptist Church and the American Baptist Women. She retired after working over 30 years as a Deli Manager for Morgan’s Foodland. Prior to that, she had worked many years for her mother at Mamie’s Restaurant and Motel. Lila enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting and traveling, but most of all loved being with her family.

She is survived by one son and spouse, Robert L. and Vicky Hahn Jr. of McCammon, ID; three daughters and spouses, Bonnie Hammock of Georgetown, TX, Mickey and Gary Mallow of Kingwood, Judy and Bruce Huggins of Kingwood; one brother and spouse, James E. and Peggy Roomsburg of Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters, Betty Jo Friend of Uniontown, PA; Jacquelin O. Albertson of Johnstown, PA; 8 grandchildren, Chloe, Robert, Nancy, Ruby, Stephen, Melonie, Jay and Brian; 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Robert Lee “Bus” Hahn Sr. in 1992; two sons, John Edward Hahn, 1982, Thomas Wayne Hahn, 1988; her sister, Anna Jean Hardman of Kingwood.

Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street on Thursday, May 18, 2017, from 4-8pm; on Friday, May 19, 2017, from 12:00 p.m.

Lila’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful love and care provided by Marcy, Holly, Linda, Paula, Helen and Mary, her personal caregivers over the last few years. Also, they would like to extend a thank you to WV Caring for the care they have given, especially Debbie and Jean.
