Libbie “Jane” Wade was born March 17, 1948 in Fairmont WV to William Carlisle and Eleanor King Wade. She died on October 8, 2017 at United Hospital Center, after a short illness.
Jane graduated from Fairmont Senior High School and Fairmont State College before earning a Master’s Degree in Social Work from West Virginia University.
Jane is survived by her brothers, Lisle (Margaret) Wade and Frank Wade; nieces and nephews, Bill (Christy) Wade, Brycie (Peter) Parnham, Steven (Linda) Wade, Jennifer (Nicholas) Greiner, Steve (Chriztine) Kirk and Stacey James; great nieces and nephews, Kylie, McKinley, Lila, Tristan, Wade, Carson, Jackson, Beck, Kathryn and Haden; cousin and dear friend, Harriett Starr. She is also survived by her church community who loved Jane and deeply enriched her life.
