Leyon “Tutu Boy” Evan Carter, 39, of Sterling, CT, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at his home, surrounded by faith, and his loving family and friends. He was born on June 7, 1976 in Kakata, Liberia, a son of Ralph and Roselyn (Ben) Carter. He is the husband of Idrialis (Perez) Carter.
Leyon is survived by his loving wife, Idrialis Perez-Carter, two beautiful young daughters, his parents Ralph and Roselyn as well as many family and friends that love him dearly.
Leyon was raised in Providence, RI. He graduated from Classical High School in 1995, studied History at the University of Rhode Island and later received his nursing degree from Norwich Technical School.
Leyon will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
