On February 16, 1916 Lexie Bell made her grand entrance in this world to the parentage of John and Fannie Bell in Carroll County, Georgia. She was the 6 of 11 children. Later the family migrated to Munford Alabama.
She was united in marriage to the late Fred D. Carlisle in January 20, 1940.
She departed this life at Sadie G. Mays Nursing Home on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 7:30 PM.
She is predeceased by Mr. James Carlisle.
She leaves to cherish her memories, Mr. Fred Carlisle (Earnestine) of Anniston, Alabama, Mrs. Pearl Wilson, Mrs. Ruth English, Mr. Ernest Carlisle (Yvonne) and Mr. Wendell Carlisle (Stacey) of Atlanta, Georgia. She has 16 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Cora Carlisle, Mrs. Sally Bell, and Mrs. Maude Bell, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
