Lewis Lewie Bartlett, 84, of Ottawa passed away June 25 at his home in Ottawa.
Lewis was born on January 29, 1926 in Ottawa to Albert and Amelia (Hartshorn) Bartlett. He was a graduate of Ottawa Township High School. He married Winona S. Johnson December 26, 1977 in Ottawa. He was an Air Force Veteran serving in WW II. He retired from AT&T where he worked as a lineman. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Ottawa, Occidental Lodge #40 AF and AM and a member of the Greatest Grandfather Club.
He is survived by his wife Winona; three daughters, Candy (Randy) Long and Deanne (Joe) Arkfeld of Denver, CO, Kimberly (Frank) Orsini of Ottawa; two sons, Joe S. Johnson of San Diego, CA, and Stanley D. Johnson of Ottawa;13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Edwin Bartlett of Streator; a sister, Marion Pearson of Arlington Heights.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lois Fuller.
