Mr. Lewis Edwin Hinman, 82, of Rising Sun, IN. passed away Thursday, August 13th, 2009 at his residence. He was the husband of Loretta (Gregory) Hinman. Lewis and Loretta were married 9/29/1966. His first wife, Corine Gladys Powell died May, 1965. Lewis was born in Switzerland County, IN on February 3, 1927, the son of the late Roy and Lilllie (Bocock) Hinman. He worked at the feed mill in Rising Sun for several years and was a truck driver before that.

Son Gary Hinman of FL;
Sister Ruthie Shaddy of Vevay, IN;
Sister Thelma Laird of Lawrenceburg, IN.
He is also survived by survived by 5 grandchildren.
He was preceded by first wife Corine Gladys Powell Hinman in 1965 and by a son Jerry Lee Hinman in 2007 and by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
