Levi Eldridge, 87, of Muncie, went home to be with his Lord and Savior late Saturday evening September 1, 2012, at The Waters of Yorktown after an extended illness. He was born September 28, 1924, in Bull Fork, Kentucky, to Melvin and Molly Eldridge. Levi attended school in Kentucky. He retired from the janitorial department of Muncie Community Schools.
Levi was a member of Mt.
He is survived by two sons, Chris Eldridge, (wife, Donna), and Stanley Eldridge, both of Muncie; three sisters, Betty Hicks, Veedersburg, Delphia Laub, Cincinnati, Ohio, Sarah Potter, Cincinnati; five grandchildren, Shawn Eldridge, (wife, Delayna), Muncie, Jason Eldridge, (wife, Lindsey), Indianapolis, Selena Glenn, (husband, Doug), Muncie, Stephanie Eldridge, Indianapolis, Jason Emenhiser, (wife, Michelle), Belcamp, Maryland; and six great grandchildren, Austin, Camryn, Reese, Aidan, Landon and Jaxson.
Levi was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Molly Eldridge; his lovely wife, Opal; and several brothers and sisters.
