Surrounded by his family, “Buddy Boy” took his final journey up this life’s mountain to meet the Lord on Sept 28,2021.
The son of a Baker in a small town in Wyoming, he grew up in Columbus MT and proudly served his country in the US Army. Summers were spent with family and friends fishing in Wyoming and Montana. He was always ready to “drop a line”.
Throughout a long career in telecommunications in Wyoming and Colorado, he coached Little League Baseball, loved hunting in the Fall each year with his wife Susan of 43 years and his children on the Colorado eastern plains, and returning yearly to his favorite places in the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness. Love and laughter were always a major part of his life. He left a far-reaching trail of memories scattered through his many blue mountains, flowing streams, hidden lakes, and windswept fields; memories shared by many, and cherished by all.
A loving Friend, Husband, Father and Grandfather, Roy was preceded in death by his wife Susan, and is survived by his two older sisters, his 3 children, Buck, Rex, and Tara; and his 6 grandchildren.
