Lester Guy “Pete” Anderson, Jr., 79, of Clarksburg passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born January 28, 1943 in Clarksburg, son of the late Guy Lester Anderson, Sr. and Mary Rose Ashcraft Anderson. Pete worked for several years for Harvey Industries as a glass blower. He then retired from Clarksburg Casket Company. His hobbies were hunting, painting and doing landscaping. Pete is survived by one son, Robert Guy Anderson and his wife Angela D, Clarksburg; two daughters, Donna Ann Curry and her husband Michael, Charlotte Marie Fittro and her husband Scott all of Clarksburg; and a daughter-in-law, Angela R. Anderson; six grandchildren, Brittany Anderson Luchuck, Amber Griffith, Nancy Turner, Randa Anderson Lake, Elizabeth Fittro and Emma Anderson; siblings, Barbara Blake and her husband Randy, Clarksburg, and Wilbur Anderson and his wife Debbie, Streetsboro, OH, Charles Anderson and his wife Judy, Clarksburg, and a sister-in-law Karen Anderson of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Ann Lynch Anderson; one son, James Edward Anderson; grandson, Brandon Guy Anderson; siblings, Peggy Jewell, Daniel Anderson, Susan Martin, Sharon Harper, and Robert “Bob” Anderson, Sr. The family would like to thank Scotty Turner for all of his help and compassionate care. Also, a special thank you to Michael and Dianna Crim for helping the family in a very special time of need. And for the nurses and CNA, Emily of WVU Hospice for their tender care.
