Herman Lester Bulva, 89, of Virginia, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville.
He was born October 30, 1929, in Troy, IL, the son of Fred and Anna Bulva. He married Erma M. Scholes on Oct. 2, 1954, in Virginia, and she survives.
He is also survived by two sons, David Bulva and Thomas (Chris) Bulva, both of Virginia; two daughters, LuAnn (John) Jennings of Panama City, FL, and Nancy (Jeffery) Wilkinson of Jacksonville; nine grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers; and two sisters.
Mr. Bulva was a veteran of the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church.
