Leslie W. Blade, 84, a resident of the Green Briar Home in Millbrook, NY, passed away on August 12, 2021 at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was born on October 7, 1936 in Bridgeport, CT, son of the late Benjamin Blade and Maude (Miller) Bradley.
Leslie served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from November 15, 1959 to December 7, 1964 upon which he received an honorable discharge.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers & sisters: Suzanne Blade, Shirley Tracey, Allen Blade, Peter Blade and Benjamin Blade. Leslie is survived by one aunt, Ann Miller Leone; and several nieces & nephews.
