Mr. Leslie Gray Moore of Tampa, Florida passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021.
Leslie was a native of Ayden, North Carolina where he was born on August 12, 1943, to David Moore, Sr., and Lydia J. Moore. He attended school in Pitt County, North Carolina. While serving with the United States Air Force, he was stationed at MacDill AFB, where he made Tampa his home for 57 years. He attended the Business University of Tampa. Leslie was a member of Greater Bethel M.B.
He will forever be in the hearts of: his wife of 55 years and devoted caregiver, Claretha; daughter, Angela Moore; son, Floyd E. Youmans, Jr.; Grandchildren, Megan (Washington, DC), Kristen, Kynisha, and their mother, Nadine (Lake Worth, FL), Floyd III, Jasmine; Angel, Anjelise and their father, Frederick; Kanayo, Chuma, Ugo, and their mother, Regina (Nashville, TN); Great grandchildren; Shayla, Ariana, Neveah, Floyd IV, Malachi, Novah, and Emanni; Sister-in-Law, Barbara Williams; Nieces, Meriam, Michelle, Denise, Eileen, Bridget, and Elaine; Nephews, James, Gary, Alvin, William and Edwin; great nieces and nephews; Faithful friends; friends of the “MacDill Reunion Gang”; Greater Bethel M.B.
