Leslie F. Pridemore, age 84 passed away on February 17, 2022. He was born November 12, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan to Leslie C. Pridemore and Elsie (Hess) Pridemore. He was the oldest of 5 siblings. He was a retired insurance agent, retired lab courier and former independent business owner and a deliverer of new fire trucks across the country. Leslie served a tour in the United States Air Force before returning to Michigan to marry his true love. He and his family moved to Florida in 1972.

Leslie is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Florence I. (Manley) Pridemore, his son Michael R. Pridemore and his wife Tricia of Atlanta, Georgia and his daughter Julie L. (Pridemore) Dawkins and her husband Leslie of St. Cloud, Florida. He is also survived by his 4 grandkids – Keisha Kortright, Michael (Ricky) Brown, Samantha Brown and Kyle Dawkins. Leslie is also survived by 7 great grandchildren – Isaiah Brown, Zoey Brown, Samiya Brown, Marley Eppes, Keira Kortright, Jack Dawkins and Oliver Dawkins as well as his brother Raymond Pridemore (Michigan) and Brenda Wayne-Snyder of Michigan.

Leslie was a true believer in Christ and is at peace in heaven where he is telling stories and bragging about his kids and grandkids. He was the absolute best dad and Papa anyone could have hoped for and always sacrificed for his family. He loved sports, Sudoko puzzles and being surrounded by his loud, loving family. He was cared for at home the last 5 years by his wife, daughter and granddaughter Samantha. He spent every day knowing he was loved and cherished.

Leslie was the center of his family and set the best example of how to live a life centered on God and family. He enjoyed being a Papa more than anything he ever accomplished. He loved talking about cars with his oldest grandson Isaiah, a mechanic and watching cartoons with his best friend 3 year old Marley. He adored his wife Florence and told everyone how amazing she was. Even in his last days the nurses and doctors at Advent Kissimmee told his family how sweet he was and what a great patient he was even when he was ill. He was a man of God first and foremost.

He will be missed every day by so many but he is at peace and will always be with us as a guiding voice and with a heart full of love.
