Leslie E. Price, age 69 of Midland, died Friday morning November 14, 2014 surrounded by his loved ones. The son of the late Frederick J. and Emma D. (Rolfe) Price was born in Saginaw on April 30, 1945. He had been employed with Midland Public Schools until his retirement in 2003 after 38 years of service. Les enjoyed camping, fishing going boating, bowling, singing, going to the Casino and enjoyed making people laugh. He coached boys and girls basketball at Eastlawn Elementary for many years and also enjoyed playing and coaching softball.
Surviving is his wife of 50 years the former Carol D. Ross of whom he married on June 20, 1964; children, Kevin Price, Kelly Goldin and friend Jake Westendorf, Kristi (Larry) Mitchell all of Midland; grandchildren, Hannah & Lynndsey Price, Caitlyn & Mackenize Matthis, Kevin Goldin, Nicole (Del) Bolesky, Shelby Mitchell; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Carol (Charley) Barlow of Burton; special friends, Jeff Lauer, Cindy Fitzgibbon and many other friends too numerous to mention; his 4 legged companion, Barney. In addition to his parents, Les was preceded in death by siblings, Donna Grigg, James Price, Larry Price and Pat Miller
