LeRoy S. Weyenberg, 71, passed away on June 6, 2013, with his family in their home in Canon City, CO. Son of John and Hattie (Langenhuizen) Weyenberg of Kaukauna, WI, LeRoy was born November 5, 1941 and was the third of four brothers. Upon graduating from Kaukauna High School in 1960, LeRoy went on to receive a BS in Biology from St. Norbert’s College in Green Bay, WI where he earned many honors, including being inducted into their Hall of Fame in 1999. Commissioned in the Army in 1966, LeRoy met his wife Judy Cheryl Andrews and they married August 19, 1966. LeRoy immediately deployed and served one tour in Vietnam. LeRoy is survived by his wife Judy of 46 years and their children, Katie and Brian; and grandchildren Mikaela, Karson, Emily, Anna, John, and Erin. LeRoy is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dennis Weyenberg.
