Leroy DeJournett Jr. was born to Leroy DeJounett Sr. and Sheila Ann DeJounett in Indianapolis, IN on June 7, 1968. Leroy graduated from Howe Highschool in 1985. He was the oldest out of three children.
Leroy served in the army from July 10, 1986, to July 9, 1989, as a Front-line Medical Specialist. He was honorably discharged. He worked in management at Kroger for 20 years and later attended Martin University where he met his wife of 17 years, Jacqueline DeJournett Muhammad. Leroy had an infectious laugh and a smile that lit up the whole room. He touched the hearts and souls of everyone that he met. He gave even when he didn’t have. Leroy passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022. He was proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents: Leroy Price Sr.
