Carroll Leroy Parks was 82 when he went to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday June 11, 2016. He was born to Carroll William Parks and Wilma Gish Parks on May 19, 1934 in Emmett, Idaho.

Everyone knew him as Leroy.  He grew up in Emmett and attended Emmett schools graduating in 1952. He worked at a trailer manufacturing company in California for a while and moved back to Idaho where he drove logging trucks and helped build Brownlee Dam. He then moved back to Emmett to work with his parents on the farm and ranch.  Later on in his life he took over the farm, had cattle trucks, long haul trucks and worked custom combining and chopping for many farmers in the valley.  He retired in 1996 as foreman of AL Cattle doing what he loved, working with cattle on the ranch and working his farm.  After retiring he enjoyed going to Arizona in the winter riding 4 wheelers with his brother, Lavar.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Gene and Dwight. He will be greatly missed by his 2 sons Ken (Lori) Gull and Bob (MeraLee) Parks numerous grand and great grandchildren, a brother, Lavar and many nieces, nephews and friends

A special “Thank You” to The Cottages in Emmett (Karen, Robin, Tony and Nataly) and Heart ‘N Home Hospice (Sara, Beth and Ed).
