Leroy C. Baylor, 83, of Upper Nazareth Township, passed away on Tuesday January 14, 2014, at St. Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the loving husband of the Olga (Kowalchuk) Baylor, with whom he celebrated 55 years of marriage in October. Born in White Township, NJ, Leroy was a son of the late John C. and Blanche (Krueger) Baylor. A graduate of Phillipsburg High School, Leroy worked for Kraemer Textiles in Nazareth, for Ingersoll “”Rand in Phillipsburg, and the Alpha Portland Cement Company in Easton. He was an avid sports fan, particularly for the Eagles and the Phillies. Leroy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bethlehem, where he sang in the choir and served as an usher. Survivors: In addition to his wife Olga, he is survived by his three daughters, Jackie Fray and her husband Pete of Nazareth, Lynette Stadtler and her husband Bruce of Walkertown, NC, and Renee Steiner and her husband John of Stockertown; grandchildren Mike, Tim, Alyssa, Janelle and Caitlin; great-grandchildren Aiden and Adriana; sisters Rosanna Deemer of Easton, Millie Dalrymple and her husband Roy of Ft. Myers, FL, brothers Harold Baylor and his wife Joan of Phillipsburg, NJ, Ralph Baylor and his wife Connie of Ft. Myers, FL. Leroy was predeceased by a sister, Evelyn Baylor, and a brother, John Baylor.
