Leora Tingey
Leora Maxine Rimington Tingey passed away peacefully at her home in Hyrum on August 9, 2016. She was born July 23, 1929 in Delta, Utah, the daughter of William Gerald Rimington and Leora Christina Boothe. Leora grew up in Southern California and moved to Brigham City in 1959. She married Paul Heber Tingey on September 9, 1960 in the Salt Lake Temple.
With her husband, Leora served two missions in Papua New Guinea and in London, England.
Leora owned a dog grooming business and had a great love for all animals. She enjoyed decorating her home. Leora dearly loved her family and was immensely involved with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Paul, and children: Lori (Winston) Jones, UT; Debi (Scott) Bullock, MD; Mari (Dave) Emery, AK; Buck (Jill) Tingey, NV; Jerry (Lynette) Tingey, ID; David (Christine) Tingey, IN; 26 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her son Andy, her parents, and two sisters: Leona DeVilbiss and Sally Wilkie.
