Dear Families and Friends, It is with great sadness and heavy hearts to inform you that Mrs. Leonita P. Bautista who was born on March 15, 1937 in Lingayen, Pangasinan, Philippines passed away peacefully at her home in the City of Alameda, California on February 1, 2021. She was 83 years old. She was a beautiful, forgiving, generous, hardworking, kind, strong, woman. She married Mr. Calixto P. Bautista of Caba, La Union, Philippines on March 19, 1962 at Manila, Philippines. Thereafter, she migrated to the United States of America to join her husband on August 19, 1962. She achieved her Citizenship in the United States of America on September 6, 1966 with only a second grade education and speaking a limited amount of the English language. She retired at the age of 65 years old working at the same facility for 30 years and was retired at the time from the former Emmanuel Convalescent Hospital in the City of Alameda, California. She is survived by her three children, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
