Leonard N. (Len) Nathan was born in Philadelphia September 2, 1932and peacefully passed in his sleep in his home May 30, Parents were Alfred Nathan and Sadie (Wasserman).He lived the first part of his life in Philadelphia, graduated from John Bartram High School. In 1957 he married the love of his life, Sally Weigand, (deceased 1999) and they began their life together in South Phila. In 1961, they moved to Briarcliffe to make a new home and raised their 2 daughters, Deborah Gavarone (Joseph) & Alison Nathan (Maria Addison).A true family man, completely devoted to his wife and children, adored his grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexis (Will Kupprion) and cherished his great-grandchildren Cruz, Gianna & Kane. He was also the devoted brother of Marlyn Cahan (Norman) and uncle of Stacy Gripman (Greg).He retired 1989 as V.P. at General Radio and always kept himself busy, with friends, family and loved making trivets for them loved the Mummers, 76’rs and Hunts Gun Club. He was one of a kind, truly loved and will be missed by all. Gone but never forgotten.
