Leonard “Ike” J. Santangelo age 85, of Ashland, died Friday January 22, 2010 at Hospice of North Central Ohio. He was born January 30, 1924 in Wooster, the son of John and Nunzia (Noletti) Santangelo. Mr. Santangelo had been a resident of Ashland since 1969, he had worked for Rubber Maid as a foreman for 13 years and later was the General Manager and a consultant for Hawkins Market for 27 years before retiring in 1989. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in WWII and had been a member of the Chamber of Commerce.
