Leonard “Gary” Fisher, 68, of Toms River, NJ passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Born in Lakewood, NJ, he was a lifelong resident of Toms River. Gary was a Fire Fighter at Lakehurst Naval Base for over 30 years, retiring as Captain.
He was a volunteer firefighter and life member of the Toms River Fire Department Company 2 and a life member of the Toms River First Aid Squad. Gary also served on the NJ State Forest Fire Service B-32, was a Fire Police Officer, and served in the National Guard. Gary is survived by his 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa & Keith Smith of Canyon Lake, TX, and Natalie & Chris Gray of Toms River, with 3 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
