Mr. Leonard Fuchs (Lenny) died following a long illness on January 5, 2015, in New York City at the age of 87.
Lenny is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Francine, of Delray Beach FL, and former resident of New City NY. He is also survived by his son Marc Fuchs and daughter Carol Fuchs Schneider, his daughter-in-law, Kim MacAvery Fuchs, his son-in-law Dan Schneider, and his grandchildren and their spouses, Adam Fuchs and Jessica Kantarian Fuchs, and Sarah Fuchs Sinusas and Kevin Sinusas,
Lenny was born on March 27, 1928, in New York City to Mo and Jenny Fuchs, and spent his early years living with close family members in the Willy Friedman family. He graduated from Boys High School in Brooklyn NY, was a veteran of the US armed forces, served in the army, and went on to Brooklyn College to complete an Accounting degree. He has been married to Francine Kogut Fuchs for over 61 years. Lenny was a principal of M. Tucker Company for 31 years, where he was an integral part of the company’s growth in the metropolitan NY area. Lenny retired and settled in Florida in 1989, where he spent many years leading his community association at Glen Eagles in Delray Beach Florida.
