He was born in Thornton, August 5, 1926, a son of the late George Wayne Myers, and Alcinda “Elizabeth” (Williams) Myers. His wife, Shirley (Haddix) Myers preceded him in death March 29, 2009. They were united in marriage April 23, 1953.
