Leonard A. Bilskie Sr., 86 of Oaktown, passed away at the Good Samaritan Hospital with his family at his bedside. Leonard was born September 10, 1932 in Knox County the son of Louis and Mary Cary Bilskie. He was a independent truck driver having drove for Bilskie Trucking. He married Marilyn Carrie and they made their life together until her death on October 1, 2016. Leonard served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lifetime member of the D.A.V. and a former member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his sons, James L. Bilskie Sr. and his wife Tami of Oaktown and Larry W. Bilskie also of Oaktown, IN. He will be missed by his numerous grand, great grand and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Bilskie, two son’s Jeff Bilskie and Leonard A. Bilskie Jr., 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
