Leon E. “Bugs” Noykos, age 54 of Midland, passed away on Friday morning November 30, 2018 due to injuries received in an automobile accident. The son of Jacqueline “Jackie” (Walters) and the late Leon E. Noykos was born in Saginaw on August 5, 1964. Bugs was a Journeyman insulator with the International Heat and Frost Insulators Local 47 for over 30 years, where he taught many the trade and was very respected among his peers. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and riding his Harley, but most of all spending time watching his grandson play sports. Bugs was part of the Wilson Miller Chillers softball team and was instrumental in coming up with the name.

Surviving are his sons, Joe Edwards, Leon “BJ” Noykos; grandson, Taber Edwards; mother, Jackie Hay; brother, Michael Noykos; nephews, Brody & Chase; wife, Margaret E. Noykos; uncle, Robert Walters and many other family members.
