Leon Stankovich 75, Elkhart, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Elkhart General Hospital.
Leon was born September 3, 1941 in Manistique, Michigan to the late Stanley and Addie Stankovich.
Leon was a business owner of many manufacturing companies; after retiring he occupied his time with playing golf, Texas-Hold’em poker, fishing and watching Michigan Football and Chicago Cubs.
Leon attended church at Northside Baptist Church of Elkhart.
Leon is survived by his loving wife, Karen of 37 years, of Elkhart, children Patricia (Lenard) Bieber of Las Vegas, NV, Pamela (Charles) Trout of Osceola, Bradley (Shauna) Stoll of South Bend, Michelle (Bradley) Hostetler of Elkhart and Mike (Sheri) Stankovich of Bristol; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 6 grand dogs; 3 brothers, Walt, Mike, Stan and 1 sister, Shirley.
Preceded in death by his grandson, Joshua and brothers, Patrick and William.
