Salem Lena (Pearl) Lattea, 92, of East View, Clarksburg passed away peacefully on December 24, 2010 at United Hospital Center. She was born in Doddridge County on October 11, 1918, the daughter of the late Philip and Julia Nicholson. Mrs. Lattea is survived by one daughter, Betty Jo Hill of East View, thirteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband, James C. Lattea; three children Lucy Lattea, Harold Lattea, and James F. Lattea; her twin brother, Lewis Earl Nicholson; a grandaughter, Charlotte Shugars; and great grandson, Philip Stewart. Pearl worked at the Manhattan Restaurant in Clarksburg for several years. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, and spending time with family.
