Lena Bohon
Lena Bohon, 77, of Rowlesburg, died Sunday, April 16th, Easter Morning, while recuperating from pneumonia at Pineridge Nursing Facility in Kingwood.
Lena was born March 2, 1940, in Rowlesburg, the daughter of Jeff and Susan Bohon. Lena attended Romney School for the Deaf as a child, and was an inquisitive and perceptive person and a life-long learner. A powerful woman of faith, Lena was loved by her friends at the Kingwood Christian Fellowship Church, and as a believer in Jesus Christ was the epitome of unconditional love. Her honesty and genuine love of life drew others to her, and her sense of humor inspired the affection of all who grew to know her. Lena loved animals, puzzles, word searches, and was a gifted artist.
She is survived by her sister, Cheryl Bohon, and her niece and best friend, Pam Bohon, both of Rowlesburg; several nieces and nephews including Donna Bohon Fritz, of Baltimore; nephew and wife, Charlie and Janet Stemple, and niece and husband, Susan and Jim McCray of Terra Alta; her beloved cat, Morris; several cousins and grand-nieces and nephews; and dedicated friends that will greatly miss her.
She was pre-deceased by her brothers; Ralph Bohon, Billie Bohon, and Charles Bohon and sisters; Edna Bohon, Gladys Bohon Stemple, Agnes Bohon, and Ruby Bohon.
