Leland L. (Vern) Baker, Sr., 66, of 320 Hughes Street, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at The Gatehouse Hospice.
Vern and his wife, the former Linda M. Snyder, observed their 41st wedding anniversary on November 22, 2010.
Vern was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, enjoyed hunting, fishing and demolition derby’s.
Born July 22, 1944 in Bath, NY, he was the son of Howard and Rose Galusha Baker.
Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Leland L., Jr. of Williamsport and Donald C. of Muncy; daughter, Janette M. Andrews of Williamsport; brothers, Howard of Liberty, John of Dyersburg, TN and Roy of Blossburg; grandchildren, Alexandria, Hunter, Madison and Tanner.
