Lee Sparago Napoli, 96, a resident of Whitney Manor in Hamden, formerly of West Haven, passed away Feb. 12, 2018 in Yale New Haven Hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of James Napoli. Mrs. Napoli was born in New Haven July 19, 1921, daughter of the late Aniello and Maria Bernardo Sparago. She worked for many years as director of medical records at the former Winthrop Continuing Care Center in New Haven. She enjoyed doing volunteer work at the Hospital of St. Raphael. She was a devout Catholic and will be remembered as an exceptional cook as well as a devoted wife and mother. The family would like to acknowledge the care provided by the staff at Yale New Haven Hospital. Mrs. Napoli is survived by her daughter and son in law, Lisa and Edward H. McGann Jr. of New York City as well as several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Joseph, Jerry and Fred Sparago and a sister, Faye DiLauro. At Mrs.
