LEE HARE, age 56 of Fall River, Massachusetts, formerly of Manassas, VA died Saturday, March 22, 2003 at Charlton Hospital in Massachusetts. Lee was born in Lynchburg, VA, son of the late George Hare and Dorothy Hare Collins and his step-father, Ray Collins. He was a lifetime member of the Yorkshire Volunteer Fire Department, joining at the age of 15 as a Junior Fireman. He retired from the City of Manassas Parks and Recreation Department after 27 years of service. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Faye Hutchison and Brenda Wynn. Survivors include two sisters, Ann Coleman, of Manassas, VA and Linda Edwards, of Wilmington, NC, a very special friend, Tammy Blackburn and numerous nieces and nephews. Lee will be remembered by his family as a quiet, loving brother and uncle. Family will receive friends from 10:00 until 12:00 PM, Friday, March 28, 2003 at Price Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas where funeral services will be held 12:30 PM, Friday with Rev. Dr. Larry L. Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas.
