Lee Edward was born in Tyler, Texas, the second oldest child from a sibling of 9 to parents Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Lee Bowie. He attended school in Tyler Texas until moving to California with his family and then proceeded to join the Air force in which he served for 4 years.
His passion was the “ponies” at the race track, he loved the fresh air and joined his brother Roy, and had very good luck. He also had a great love for the family pet name Shadow Bowie
