Lee Blaine Pennington, Sr., 74, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at home surrounded by family. He was born on November 19, 1946 in Indianapolis to the late Orrell B. and Mildred (Watkins) Pennington. He married the love of his life, Barbara Ann Baker, on October 10, 1981.
Lee was an awesome human being and a great mechanic. He would do anything in the world for you even though he was a Harvey Hardass. Lee was a great drag racer, could tell a good story and was always ready to go to work, no matter what time of day it was. He enjoyed going to auto swap meets, the casino and was a great cook.
Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara (Baker) Pennington; children, Lee Blaine (Ola) Pennington, Jr., Christine Pennington Sullivan, Janell (Kris) Musgrove and Shannon Raney; grandchildren, Josh Pennington, Paul (Jessica) Pennington, Taylor Pennington, Susan, Amanda Pennington, Ronald Sullivan, III, Paul Musgrove and Kyle (Sarah) Musgrove; great-grandchildren, Cowen, Jax, Abagail, Anabelle, Gaberial and Naomi.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Linda Watts, James Pennington and Jeff Hack.
