Leda Grace Peterson Lee
“Nana”
April 9, 1921 – March 9, 2016

Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend, Leda Peterson Lee, known as Nana, was called home to her loving Heavenly Father on March 9, 2016. She was born on April 9, 1921 to Joseph and Minnie Chandler Peterson in Plano, Idaho. She was the 5th of five children. Leda liked to tell of her younger days and how she used to dance, sing solos, roller skate, ice skate and tap dance. Later she loved to golf, play tennis and continued to dance.

She met and married the love of her life, Delbert Severin Lee, on June 29, 1942. They had six children and got to raise four of them. Leda and Delbert liked the outdoors and would take their four sons camping and fishing and to the National Parks.

They lived in Brigham City and Ogden, where they later moved to Fellowship Manor. Delbert only lived 3 months after the move; he died Dec. 24th 2000.

Leda was always busy in the church and was Relief Society President. She led the singing for 65 years.

Leda always took pride in her appearance and would never leave her apartment without her hair being neat and beautiful and her make-up just right. Also she always wore her jewelry. She got many compliments even at age 94.

She loved to go out with different friends to lunch. Her sons called her about every day, which made her very happy.

She left this world with a long posterity left behind, 3 sons, Terrence (Kathy), Marlo (Pam), Kevin (Nancy), and daughter-in-law, Laura Kay; 21 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren and Lonnie Thorpe who she called her 5th son, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert; son, Ryan who passed away Dec. 8, 2006 and 2 daughters, Susan and Kristi.
