Lawrence E Schmidt, 63 of Lordsburg passed away on August 20, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family. “Larry” as he was affectionately known was born August 30, 1953, in Torrance, California to Edward and Dorothy (Burch) Schmidt.
He had worked as a truck driver locally with the mines as well as other transportation companies. Larry loved life especially the outdoors which allowed him to pursue his favorite pastime, working with his tractor. Digging, hauling, cleaning, anything, anyone could do with a tractor. Larry will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Larry is survived by his wife Deborah; five siblings which included a very special, loving brother, Donald; a brother-in-law, Gene Francis; sister-in-law, Linda Quintana (Emilio); many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Edward.
