Lawrence Dean MillerAge 63 of Brant passed away Saturday, January 2, 2022 at the University of Michigan.Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor Mike McCarty officiating. Burial will follow at St. Theresa Cemetery in Marion Springs. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Saturday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Masks are required for the visitation and funeral.Lawrence was born August 29, 1958 in Flint, the son of Anthony and Dolly (McClung) Miller.He graduated from Swartz Creek High School, class of 1976.Lawrence was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed fishing and loved hunting. For the past 40 years he got at least one buck each year.He married Kathleen Rose Thompson in a Medieval Wedding on his parents farm on June 18, 2005.Lawrence was a member of the Labor Union in Detroit for many years and retired from 21st Century Salvage in Detroit in 2020.Lawrence is survived by his wife Kathy; mother Dolly; son Brandon (Kayla) Miller; daughters Michelle Womack and Michaela Miller;10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.He was predeceased by his father, siblings Timothy Miller, Karen Karbassi and Susan Miller.Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
