Lawrence “Larry” Eugene Andrews was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 27, 1949 to Frank and Mayme Finkton Andrews.
Lawrence attended Indianapolis Public Schools #41, Crispus Attucks and Harry E. Wood High Schools. It was in High School where Larry began his training as an Auto Mechanic.
Lawrence had a passion for Auto Mechanics and spent numerous hours working on his own hot rods and many other family, friends and neighbors cars.
Lawrence, known affectionately as Larry, departed this life on February 4, 2022, at the age of 72. He was preceded in death by his mother Mayme Finkton Andrews,, his father Frank James Andrews, brothers Stanley Finkton and James Andrews and sisters Willa Mae Finkton Brooks and Juanita Andrews Travis.
Lawrence leaves to cherish his memories his son Lawrence Brookins, son James sines daughter Angela Brookins brothers Wilbert Finkton, Frank G. Andrews Sr, sisters Judy Cox and Arlee Solomon. 16 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren.
