Lavina was born on January 20, 1932, on the family farm near Gresham, NE to Bernard and Elsie (Pozehl) Neujahr. Vinie attended Staplehurst High School for two years. On June 18, 1950, she was united in marriage to Glenn “Demps” Reiling in Staplehurst, NE. Vinie was a member of the Staplehurst Women’s Community Club and a avid collector of antiques. Vinie pass away on March 17, 2012, in Seward, NE at the age of 80 years, 1 month and 26 days. She is survived by three daughters and husbands, Brenda and Tim Meinberg of Seward, NE, Cindy and Jeff Arnold of Staplehurst, NE and Kim Oliver of Lakewood, CO; sisters, Evelyn Brandenburg of Seward, NE, Verie Boucher of Las Vegas, NV, Dorothy Winkelmann of York, NE and Merna and Bob Ocken of York, NE; sisters-in-law, Opal Neujahr of AZ and Corinne Neujahr of WI; 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Vinie was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn “Demps” Reiling; infant son, Kevin Scott; infant daughter, Shelly Gay; parents; great-granddaughter, Chelsea Meinberg; brothers, Norm Neujahr, Del Neujahr, Bill Neujahr and Leo Neujahr; sister Verna Eikenhorst.
