Age 74, of Munhall, formerly of Carnegie, PA.  Daughter of the late Richard and Sophia (Zupanc) Mullin.  Beloved wife of Edward Churma of 50 years.  Much loved mother of Michael (Hanako), Karen Kamon (Timothy) and Christine Stupakis (Nick).  Grandmother of George Stupakis and one month old twins, Sophia and Michael Stupakis.  Also survived by brothers John (Margaret) Mullin and Richard (Marian) Mullin and sisters-in-law Nancy Wright and Kris Muchko along with many nieces and nephews.  Laurita graduated from St. Luke High School and Pittsburgh Hospital School of Nursing.  She worked as a Registered Nurse at Willis Center and Jefferson Regional Hospital.  Laurita enjoyed volunteering throughout her lifetime.  Due to her personal experience with breast cancer, she volunteered for the Reach to Recovery of the ACS.  She became a trainer for other volunteers in this peer support and education program for several years.  She also became a co-coordinator for the program where she helped match patients with other R to R volunteers.  She also helped initiate the Look Good Feel Better program at Jefferson Hospital.  In 2008, she was awarded the Terese Lasser award for her outstanding service to women experiencing breast cancer.
