Strickland DuPéeLaurie Lees Strickland DuPée passed away peacefully on Dec. 8, 2021 at age 60.Laurie was raised in Upper Chichester, PA and graduated from Chichester High School, later from Episcopal Hospital School of Nursing. As a registered nurse she spent much of her career working with clients at Don Guanella School.Laurie was devoted to her five boys, raising them to be young men that she was extremely proud of. She was known as “Mamie” to her eight grandchildren, and they often put on silly hats and danced. She loved her dog and loved spending time in the field by her home taking pictures that would rival any professional. Her family was everything to her and she was always available to any of them when they called on her for advice. Survivors: Devoted wife of Stephen “Steve” DuPée. Loving mother of Joshua (Keren) Strickland, Samuel (Angela) Strickland, Nathanael Strickland, Benjamin (Heather Bennett) Strickland, Josiah Strickland, and the late Elijah Strickland. Grandmother of Samuel, Caleb, Miranda, Elizabeth, Hadassah, Malachi, Abigail, and Naomi.Cherished daughter of Albert & Carol Lees. Sister of Brian (Lisa) Lees, Scott (Michelle) Lees, also many nieces and nephews.
