Details: Laura V. Jester, 85, a 47 year resident of Pasadena died on May 20, 2015 at Heart Homes in Linthicum. She was born on December 7, 1929 in Baltimore, MD to the late Lillie and Otto W. Viel. Mrs. Jester was a homemaker. She was a member of Community United Methodist Church and the Arundel Eastern Star Chapter #80. Mrs. Jester supported and assisted her husband, Rev. Pennell Jester, in his ministry at various local Methodist churches including Mt. Carmel, Faith, Solley, and Marley United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included needle point, crocheting, and traveling in the car. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Rev. Pennell Jester, her brothers Harry B. Viel and Charles N. Viel. Mrs. Jester is survived by her sons Pennell J. Jester of Glen Burnie, Dennis B. Jester, Sr. of Pasadena, Neil W. Jester of Stevensville, and Otto F. Jester of Salisbury, her daughter Claudine M.J. Castro of Hampstead, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
