Mildred departed this earth on March 22, 2012.  She was born August 17, 1913 in Ontario Oregon to Laura Allison.  She was the youngest of three children.  She was raised the the Ontario, Fruitland area.  She graduated high school and became a cosmetologist in Ontario, working in Idaho and Oregon off and on.  At a dance in Silver City she met Henry Brown who was playing a trumpet  in the dance band, some time later on Dec 10, about 1937 they were married.  Henry was called to active duty in World War II so she worked and waited for his return.  After he returned, after a few years their only child, Beverly was born.  Henry served in the Army National Guard in Boise in October 1973.  Then he and Mildred retired and started traveling to Hawaii, Yuma, Hemet and Sun City, Arizona.  She loved fishing, gardening, crafts and looking through countless magazines clipping, saving and cooking lots of recipes.  They were Lifetime members of Good Sam RV Club with the local Capitol Gypsies and Holiday Rambler’s trailering club and and made friends where ever they were.  Mildred was by Henry’s side as wife, mother and friend for 10 days short of 70 years, when in 2007 Henry passed at 94.  Mildred’s life completely changed.  It wasn’t easy for her because he was her whole life.  She moved to Valley View Retirement Center for 3 1/2 years where she made many friends.  Last August she moved to Hillcrest Assistant Living to finish out her life.

She was preceded in death by her 2 brothers Marion and Oliver, her Mother and Dad and by her loving husband Henry.
