Laura June Pettigrew, 83, of Pendleton, passed away on December 5, 2017 at her residence. She was born on April 29, 1934 in Piggott, Arkansas and resided most of her life in Pendleton.
June graduated from Anderson High School, and she retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 32 years of service. She was a member of Columbus Avenue Church of Christ. She loved to take walks, family dinners, working in the yard, vacations, but most of all she enjoyed her time with her family.
June is survived by her daughter, Christy Collis; siblings, Jimmy (Sandy) Vaughn, Tommy (Judy) Vaughn, Frankie Vaughn, Lela Mae Powers; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Lee Bates; parents Boots and Alice Vaughn; and three brothers.
