It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Laura Jean Kastelic (Blackwell) of Nampa, Id. After struggling for many years with health issues, God called our angel home to be with Him in heaven. Though our hearts are broken, she is finally free of the suffering she has endured.
The sun rose, and the world shone a bit brighter on January 3, 1949, as Laura came into the world. Laura lived a full and warm life surrounded by the people she loved the most. The people lucky enough to be loved by her experienced her kindness and generosity. She cared deeply for God, her family, her friends, and her pets. She spent her life making her home a place where everyone felt welcome and loved. Helping others was never out of obligation; it was simply who she was. Her greatest joy was being a mom and grandma. She loved creating memories and sharing in the things that gave the people she loved happiness. Her ability and talent to create spectacular memories will be greatly missed.
