Laura E. Figueroa, 68, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully in her home on November 10, 2014, surrounded by her lopving family. She was the wife of Pedro Figueroa, with whom she shared over 52 years of marriage. Born in Corozal, Puerto Rico, Laura was the daughter of the late Ramon and Carmen (Gonzalez) Otero. She and her husband operated Figueroas Market in Bethlehem for the past 40 years. She loved raising her family, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. Survivors: her loving husband Pedro; son Peter Figueroa and his wife Therese of Bethlehem; daughter Cristal Figueroa of Bethlehem; brother Juan Otero of Bethlehem; sisters Miriam Gonzalez of Bethlehem, and Lucy Gonzalez; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Laura was preceded in death by her daughter, Madeline Figueroa in March 2014, and by her brothers Ramon Otero and Carmelo Amezquita.
