Laura E. Frisbie, 87, of Anita, Iowa (formerly of Wiota and Atlantic) passed away Sunday, October 12, 2008, at Colonial Manor in Anita.
Laura Erma Beecher was born on June 19, 1921, in Scotland, South Dakota, the daughter of Charles and Lizzie (Marsh) Beecher.
Her family moved to Anita in 1937, and Laura graduated from the Anita High School in 1939. After graduation she worked in the Atlantic Canning Factory. Laura was also a nanny, nicknamed “Daisy.
