Laura (Clarkston) Broadus, 97, passed away Friday June 13, 2014 in Florida. She was a former resident of Franklin. Laura was born Nov.11, 1916 in Franklin to Shelby and Lillian (Deering) Clarkston.
She was employed with Arvin Industries in Franklin for 35 years. Laura was a wonderful lady and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include, nephews, Jess Griner and Ronald Clarkston, cousin, Letha McKinney, friend, Connie Pitts and several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wilmer E.“Web” Broadus, brother, Merville Clarkston, sister, Myrtle Sefton and nephew, Jim Griner.
